Belgium, Kingdom. An Order of Leopold II, Knight, c.1910 Hold and Finland has no separate(Dutch: Orde van Leopold II, French: Ordre de Lopold II). Instituted in 1900 by King Leopold II. Type I (1900 1915). In silver, a Maltese cross with ball finials, wreath segments in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features the black enamelled crest of the Congo Free State, surrounded by a blue ring with the motto TRAVAIL ET PROGRES, the reverse medallion bearing the cypher of Leopold II, surmounted by a large hollow crown and suspended by an
