The table legs of cabriole shape are  deeply carved with scrolls to the top and carved with acanthus leaves & bell flowers below

but in reality it was more likley a memento of a loved and trusted steed

circa 1900

with the marks for Francis Clarke and Birmingham with the date letter "S" for 1841
